| Description |
| This MultiZone Safety Controller is a custom designed controller that acts as an interface between various Tapeswitch Sensing devices and a machine or process control. It is designed to monitor up to six zones and provides power to all connected B-Series Light Curtain emitters and receivers and monitors the output signals. In addition to Light Curtains, the MultiZone Safety Controller interfaces with various pressure-sensitive, normally-open switches made by Tapeswitch including ribbon switches, sensing edges/bumpers, and switching mats.
The MultiZone Safety Controller incorporates built-in fault protection. It automatically detects an open or short within the sensor or its connecting cable and can also detect internal failures.
The MultiZone Safety Controller is a fully self-contained unit housed in a rugged metal enclosure and is designed to be wall mounted. It will accept an input power source range of 85 to 264VAC at an input frequency rang of 47 to 63Hz. The unit will also accept a regulated 24VDC supply. |
