| The new Electrobolt 700 Series shotbolt is electrically continuously rated and has a mechanical specification for long-term operation under the most demanding industrial conditions. Users can opt for either powered extension or retraction and a wide range of ac and dc input voltages can be specified. The locking bolt is 10mm diameter stainless steel and has travel of 15mm. The Electrobolt 700 is typically used to secure sliding doors and guarding panels, particularly on hazardous machines requiring frequent access such as power presses. Bolt position monitoring switches enable integration with process monitoring and control systems. Designed for vertical or horizontal surface-mounting, the housing is manufactured from heavy-gauge aluminium castings with deep fins on three sides. The latter feature ensures rapid heat dissipation and maximises solenoid coil life expectancy and reliability. The housing is fully enclosed and ingress protected to IP65. A uniquely-coded mechanical override key is an option for users needing to disable the shotbolt in the event of a power failure. All models share common dimensions of 250 x 75 x 90mm and weigh 2.5kg.V |

| Easy to install, Electrobolt 700 Series shotbolts can be fitted to hinged, roller or shutter doors, gates, hatches and security fences. Optional base and face mounting plates are available for front flange mounting to spread the mounting load or where access to the rear of the mounting surface is restricted. In safe access control systems Electrobolt 700 Series can be connected to a machine control circuit and used as an interlock. All models should be used in accordance with the machinery directives. | ||||

| The Electrobolt 700 may be base mounted on a wall or other suitable frame or support using 4 off M6 bolts & Washers. Use 4 way cable for power & 7 way cable for monitoring.The unit requires the following PL1 (power) & PL2 ( monitoring) connections. |
