How To Order Safety Mats
Step-by-step guide to the ordering process
 
CONTROLMAT and ARMORMAT SAFETY MATS
1. Specify the mat size.
Single ControlMat Safety Mats are available in sizes up to 48" x 192".
Single ArmorMat Safety Mats are available in sizes up to 48" x 120".
Larger multi-mat configurations are also available.
 
2. Pick a lead exit.
Mats are supplied with one 4-conductor cable.
The lead outlet options are:
LLS Long side, Left end, Single lead
LRS Long side, Right end, Single lead
SLS Short side, Left end, Single lead
SRS Short side, Right end, Single lead
Special lead exits are also available.
3. Pick a mat color.
Color choices are: Black, Yellow, and Blue.
4. Pick an edge treatment.
Choices are ramped (standard) or square.
5. Pick aluminum edging (trim), if required.
For ramped mats, use AE-1.
For square-edge mats, use AE-2, AE-3, or AE-13.
6. Pick a fail-safe interface controller, if required.
Choose a PRSU or PSSU model for high-risk applications.
 
DIAMOND PLATE SAFETY MATS
1. Specify the active area required.
Diamond Plate Safety Mats have 3.5" trim on each edge, which is inactive.
2. Pick a lead exit.
Mats are supplied with one 4-conductor cable. See the diagram above for options.
3. Pick a fail-safe interface controller, if required.
Choose a PRSU or PSSU model for high-risk applications.
 
SAFETY ZONE SENSING MATS
1. Specify the mat size.
Safety Zone Sensing Mats are available in sizes up to 40" x 60". Custom sizes are available.
2. Specify the mat surface.
Choices are: ribbed, eurodot, and smooth.
3. Pick a mat color.
Color choices are: Black or yellow. Custom colors are available.
4. Pick an edge treatment.
Choices are: ramped or square.
5. Pick aluminum edging (trim), if required.
For ramped mats, use AE-1.
For square-edge mats, use AE-2, AE-3, or AE-13.
6. Pick a fail-safe interface controller, if required.
Choose a PRSU or PSSU model for high-risk applications.
Note: Standard lead location is mid-point on short side. Other locations optional.
 
COMFORT ZONE SAFETY MATS
1. Specify the mat size.
Comfort Zone Safety Mats are available in sizes up to 40" x 60".
2. Pick a lead exit.
Mats are supplied with one 4-conductor cable. See the diagram above for options..
3. Pick a fail-safe interface controller, if required.
Choose a PRSU or PSSU model for high-risk applications.
Note: Mat has black sensing surface with ramped, yellow edge.
