| Tapeswitch SD-75 Dual-Switch Sensing Bumpers offer a unique sensor configuration which produces one or two output signals, depending on the severity of impact and extent of deformation. On initial contact with an obstruction, a leading edge ribbon switch activates, which can be used to trigger a stop command or contact alarm. If the sensing bumper continues to collapse, a second switch activates, which can initiate an emergency stop or reverse command. |
| SD-75 pressure-sensitive bumpers are available in 4 or 7 inch widths, up to 14 inches high, and up to 12 feet in length. Tapeswitch can provide various colors, as well as a range of sensitivities and compression characteristics. These sensing bumpers are mounted is by means of studs or threaded holes, as required. |
